The Workshop
At SamosWoodShop, each wooden surfboard is handcrafted in our workshop in Normandy, a few kilometers from the English Channel. What began as a passion for surfing and woodworking has become an artisanal craft: surfboard-shaped coffee tables, decorative wall boards, and balance boards, carved from solid pine and shaped piece by piece.
We do not mass-produce. Each coffee table and wall board is hand-cut, sanded, stained, and finished — meaning that the wood grain, nuances of color, and small variations make each piece unique. No two tables are ever quite alike, like two waves.
Customization is our specialty
